About a week ago, TIME magazine posted it's top 10 gadgets for this year, and as expected, Apple came out with two products in this list:
- Apple iPhone 5
- Nintendo Wii U
- Sony Cyber-shot RX100
- Raspberry Pi Model B
- Lytro
- Apple 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display
- Microsoft Surface with Windows RT
- Samsung Galaxy Note II
- Nest
- Simple.TV
TIME magazine praises the product for it's stunning design with it's taller screen, while still being thinner then the iPhone 4 and 4S. The other thing TIME magazine picked up on is the new camera on this iPhone and the brand new Panorama mode that let's you take stunning panoramas without any worry. The snippet goes on to talk about how this phone competes with the other Android giants such as the Samsung Galaxy S III.
I can definitely agree with all these remarks because I bought one for myself. One thing that I can definitely say about this iPhone that impressed me is the speed. The A6 chip that Apple packed in this iPhone is absolutely amazing. When it comes to every day use, you won't be able to catch anything such as lag or dropped frames. And even tho iOS 6 was a big disappointment to most of the iOS users, it seems to work with this iPhone just fine. The new redesign interfaces for the App and iTunes stores and also the Music app are quite nice on this bigger screen.
Overall, I could see why TIME chose this product to be the best gadget. What do you think? Does the iPhone 5 deserve this spot in this list? Why or why not? Let us know in the comments.
